Yadea, a global leader in electric mobility, has officially launched its EPOC electric scooter in the Nepali market, priced at NPR 235,000. The scooter, designed for long-range commutes, promises a 150 km range on a single charge, making it one of the most competitive offerings in Nepal’s growing electric vehicle (EV) sector.

Key Specifications and Battery Details
The Yadea EPOC is equipped with a 3,000W hub motor and a 72V 38Ah graphene battery pack (equivalent to 2.7kWh capacity), which the company claims delivers a reliable 150 km range under optimal conditions. The scooter also features:

  • 16-degree climbing ability, ideal for Nepal’s hilly terrain.
  • Fast charging (1.5-3 hours for full charge).
  • Removable battery for convenient home or workplace charging.

Advanced Features for Modern Riders
The EPOC sports a sleek, fully chrome-plated design and includes cutting-edge features such as:

  • Full LED lighting with visibility-enhancing distance lights.
  • A 7-inch digital dashboard for real-time ride data.
  • Yadea Connect App integration for GPS navigation, ride analytics, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Smart side stand alerts and anti-theft security.
  • Dual hydraulic disc brakes for enhanced safety.
  • Hydraulic shock absorbers and a spacious 30-liter under-seat storage.

Kuju Nepal, the official distributor of Yadea in Nepal, unveiled the scooter at a launch event in Kathmandu. The EPOC targets urban commuters and delivery services seeking a blend of performance, range, and affordability.

“The EPOC’s 150 km range and robust 3kW motor make it a game-changer for Nepal’s diverse geography,” said Rajesh Shrestha, spokesperson for Kuju Nepal. “We aim to support the government’s push toward sustainable transport while addressing range anxiety among riders.”


The Yadea EPOC is now available through authorized dealers in Kathmandu, with plans to expand to Pokhara and other cities soon. Test rides and financing options are being offered to attract early adopters.
