Royal Enfield Classic 350 ‘Gorkha Edition’ Launched in Nepal Under NPR 600,000

Royal Enfield has introduced a special edition of its popular Classic 350 motorcycle in Nepal, with the new Classic 350 ‘Gorkha Edition’ now available for purchase.

The Nepalese market launch has been carried out by Alpha Automotive, the authorized distributor of Royal Enfield in Nepal. The company has priced the new Classic 350 Gorkha Edition at a starting price of NPR 599,000.

The special edition was launched in India earlier this week and has now made its way into the Nepalese market. Unlike a major model update, the Gorkha Edition retains the same overall design, body panels, cycle parts and mechanical package as the standard Classic 350. The key differences come through its exclusive colour scheme, graphics and Gorkha-inspired styling elements.

Military-Inspired Olive Green Design

The biggest visual highlight of the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is its Light Military Olive Green paint scheme. Inspired by the colour commonly associated with military vehicles, the new finish gives the motorcycle a distinctive rugged and military-inspired appearance.

The colour and graphics are designed to reflect the legacy and identity associated with the Gorkha Regiment. The side panels feature exclusive Gorkha Edition graphics along with a crossed Khukuri motif, adding to its special-edition character.

Same 349cc Engine

Mechanically, the Gorkha Edition remains unchanged from the standard Classic 350. It is powered by Royal Enfield’s 349cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled J-series engine.

The engine produces 20.2 bhp of maximum power and 27 Nm of peak torque and comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Classic 350 Hardware Retained

The motorcycle continues with the familiar Classic 350 equipment package, featuring a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer and LCD display.

Other notable features include:

  • Wire-spoke wheels
  • Split rider and pillion seats
  • Round rear-view mirrors
  • Chrome-finished exhaust
  • Chrome headlamp
  • Classic retro styling

The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is positioned as a lifestyle-focused special edition, combining Royal Enfield’s traditional retro design with military-inspired styling and Gorkha-themed detailing.

With a starting price of NPR 5.99 lakh, the new edition adds another distinctive option to Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 lineup in Nepal.
