Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. has brought the new Hyundai Creta EV to Nepal, and it will go on sale starting next week.
The Creta EV is produced in India and looks very similar to the regular Creta model. However, its interior has been completely redesigned for a modern feel.
The car comes with many exciting features. It includes ADAS 2.0 for enhanced safety, dual-zone air conditioning for extra comfort, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a wireless charger, and ventilated seats. It also boasts a large panoramic sunroof, a memory driver seat, a welcome seat, and a vehicle-to-load function that lets you power external devices.
Hyundai is offering two motor options for the Creta EV. The first option has a 99 kW motor paired with a 42 kWh NCM battery. This version is said to offer a range of 390 kilometers on a single charge, though in real driving conditions, you might expect around 275-plus kilometers. The second option features a larger 51.4 kWh battery with a 126 kW motor, which ARAI tests show can reach 473 kilometers on a single charge. In everyday use, the range is expected to be about 375-plus kilometers.
Overall, the Hyundai Creta Electric is set to bring a fresh wave of electric mobility to Nepal with its modern design and upgraded features.
