Paramount Motors prices the MG S6 at NPR 69.99 lakh — making it the most affordable option in its competitive segment
Paramount Motors, the authorised distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal, has officially launched the MG S6 electric SUV in the Nepali market, setting an aggressive opening price of NPR 69,99,000 — a figure that immediately positions it as the most competitively priced option in its class.
To put that in perspective: the BYD Sealion 7 retails at NPR 79.99 lakh, the Deepal S-07 at NPR 74.99 lakh, and the Leapmotor C-10 at NPR 72 lakh. The MG S6 undercuts all three.

Powertrain & Performance
The S6 arrives in Nepal in Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration — though international markets also offer an All-Wheel Drive variant. Under the hood sits a 180 kW electric motor producing 350 Nm of torque, capable of launching the SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.
Underpinning the drivetrain is a 77 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, WLTP-certified for a range of 530 kilometres on a single full charge. DC fast charging is supported at up to 144 kW, with the company claiming a 10–80% charge in just 38 minutes.

Dimensions & Space
The MG S6 is a properly sized SUV. At 4,708 mm long, 1,912 mm wide, and 1,672 mm tall, it rides on a 2,835 mm wheelbase and offers a generous 674-litre boot space — practical figures that should appeal to Nepali families looking for everyday usability.
Cabin & Features

The interior draws heavily from the MG5’s design language. The dashboard is dominated by a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, complemented by an 11-speaker audio system. Creature comforts include heated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a front frunk (front trunk) for additional storage.
Tech-forward features include adjustable regenerative braking, one-pedal driving, and an optional Rain Night Mode — first seen on the iM6 — that adapts driving assistance in low-visibility conditions.
Safety
On the safety front, the S6 is well-equipped with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Level 2 ADAS, and 7 airbags. Internationally, it has earned a coveted 5-Star Euro NCAP safety rating.

Design
Visually, the front fascia shares a family resemblance with the MG5, but the rear of the S6 carves its own distinct identity — giving it a character that feels fresh rather than derivative.
At NPR 69.99 lakh, the MG S6 makes a compelling case on paper — blending a long-range LFP battery, rapid charging, spacious dimensions, and a loaded feature set at a price point none of its rivals can currently match in Nepal.
