Riddara RD6 Electric Pickup Launched in Nepal with Rs. 9.99 Lakh Down Payment Offer

Riddara RD6 Electric Pickup Launched in Nepal with Rs. 9.99 Lakh Down Payment Offer

CG Motors, the official distributor of Geely vehicles in Nepal, has launched a new financing offer for the Riddara RD6, an all-electric pickup truck developed by Geely’s EV division. Under this new scheme, customers can now purchase the RD6 with a down payment starting at just Rs. 9.99 lakhs, making it one of the most accessible electric pickups in the market.

Premium EV Platform with Practical Range

The Riddara RD6 is built on Geely’s advanced MAP (Modular Architecture Platform), a dedicated EV chassis designed for stability, performance, and adaptability. This two-wheel-drive variant is powered by a single 200 kW electric motor that delivers 385 Nm of torque, offering ample performance for both urban and semi-off-road driving.

It draws energy from a 63 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of up to 377 km (NEDC) on a full charge. While real-world range may vary, this figure places it competitively among EV pickups currently available in Asia.

Designed for Comfort, Utility, and Versatility

To ensure a comfortable ride across Nepal’s diverse terrains, the RD6 features independent suspension—MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear. This allows for better handling and shock absorption, ideal for both city roads and rural routes.

For utility, it boasts a massive 1,200-liter rear cargo bed, a 70-liter front trunk, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, enabling users to power external electrical equipment directly from the vehicle—ideal for work sites, camping, or emergency use.

The RD6 also includes three drive modes (Comfort, Economy, and Sport), a 360-degree camera system, adaptive Matrix LED headlights, and a body reinforced with 66% high-strength steel, enhancing both safety and durability.

Attractive Launch Offer and After-Sales Support

As part of its launch campaign, CG Motors is offering multiple incentives:

  • Free accessories
  • Cashback deals
  • Exchange bonus of up to Rs. 3 lakhs

These benefits are aimed at making EV ownership more affordable while also supporting customers looking to trade in older vehicles.

To further support owners, CG Motors has established over 260 EV charging stations and more than 20 authorized service centers across Nepal, making long-distance travel and service access easier than ever.

Geely’s Entry into Nepal’s Growing EV Pickup Market

The Riddara RD6 marks Geely’s official entry into Nepal’s electric pickup market, a segment that remains underserved but holds significant potential as more buyers shift toward sustainable transport. With competitive pricing, modern features, and strong utility, the RD6 is positioned as a compelling option for both private owners and commercial users.

Whether you’re hauling cargo, powering tools on-site, or just looking for a feature-rich EV, the Riddara RD6 brings a new level of practicality, technology, and electric mobility to Nepal’s roads.
