The second edition of the WADA Auto Show 2026 has officially begun in Pokhara, bringing together leading automobile brands, new vehicle launches, and a mix of modern technology and automotive heritage.
Organized by the Western Automobile Dealers Association with presentation by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, the five-day event is being held from Chaitra 11 to 15 at the exhibition ground near Tal Barahi Chowk, Lakeside. The event is promoted by Pokhara Metropolitan City and managed by Global Exposition and Management Services.
Blend of Technology and Heritage
This year’s auto show goes beyond conventional vehicle displays, featuring a unique mix of innovation and history. One of the major highlights is the showcase of humanoid robots, including the Unitree G1, along with robotic systems like Unitree Go2 and Chankhe robots, offering visitors a glimpse into advanced robotics.
In addition, a dedicated vintage car show has been organized to showcase classic and historic automobiles, giving younger audiences insight into Nepal’s automotive past.
Wide Participation from Leading Brands
The exhibition features participation from more than 30 companies, including 16 four-wheeler brands, 10 two-wheeler brands, and 6 light commercial vehicle brands. Major brands on display include BYD, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Tata Motors, Suzuki, and MG Motor, along with premium motorcycle brands like Royal Enfield and Yamaha.
Alongside vehicles, the event also hosts around 20 stalls featuring lubricants, tyres, garage equipment, and financial institutions.
Special Offers and Vehicle Showcases
As reported earlier, Elite Motors Pvt Ltd has introduced special offers on vehicles from brands such as Omoda, Jaecoo, Nissan, and iCar. The company is showcasing models like the Omoda E5, Jaecoo J5, Jaecoo J6T, Nissan Magnite, and iCar V23, with attractive limited-time deals and booking benefits for customers.
Similarly, CG Motocorp has opened bookings for the new e Vitara electric SUV at a starting price of Rs 49.99 lakh during the event. The model marks Suzuki’s entry into the EV SUV segment in Nepal.
Digital Ticketing and Cashback Offers
The organizers expect more than 45,000 visitors during the five-day event. To enhance the visitor experience, digital ticketing has been implemented in partnership with Khalti and UnionPay.
Under the offer, the first 100 students purchasing tickets via Khalti each day will receive 100 percent cashback, while the first 100 general ticket buyers can get up to 50 percent cashback through UnionPay.
Boost to Auto Industry and Tourism
Organizers believe the auto show will serve as a major platform to bring together stakeholders from across the automobile industry under one roof. With Pokhara being a key tourist destination, the event is also expected to contribute to internal tourism and economic activity in Gandaki Province.
The exhibition will conclude on Chaitra 15.
