Price Revealed of Proton EMAS-7 EV SUV in Nepal

The price of the Proton EMAS-7 electric SUV has been announced in Nepal by Jagdamba Motors. The SUV comes in two models, with prices set at NPR 68,90,000 for the bigger battery version (60.22 kWh) and NPR 58,90,000 for the smaller battery version (49.52 kWh).

The larger battery model is called “Max,” and the smaller one is named “Lite.” Both models use a 160 kW motor and offer ranges of 410 km (Max) and 345 km (Lite) based on WLTP standards. The company claims the battery can last for up to 4,00,000 kilometers, with 90.5% health even after 921 charge cycles.

The EMAS-7 is front-wheel drive and has a powerful motor with 320 Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 175 km/h.

Key features include a two-spoke steering wheel, a 10-inch digital instrument display, a 15.4-inch infotainment screen, a 13-inch head-up display, and wireless phone charging. The SUV also comes with a panoramic sunroof, 256-color ambient lighting, ventilated power seats, 16 speakers, and Level 2 ADAS safety features.

Proton is a Malaysian brand, 51% owned by Geely Group. The EMAS-7 is based on Geely’s Galaxy E-5 but is rebranded for right-hand drive markets like South Asia.
