Karry Electric Vans Set to Debut at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025

Two new electric vans from the Chinese EV brand Karry are set to be unveiled at the upcoming NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025, which kicks off on Shrawan 21 (August 6) in Kathmandu.

The launch is being spearheaded by LXG Motors Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Laxmi Group, one of Nepal’s most prominent business conglomerates.

Karry is a brand under Chery Commercial Vehicles, a global leader in automotive manufacturing. Known for its reliability, safety, and performance, Chery’s commercial segment is now entering the Nepali market with a strong EV push.

Two Variants for Distinct Needs

The brand will introduce two variants under the Karry lineup:

  • Karry Kevan 1
  • Karry Kevan 2

Each variant will be available in two use-case-specific models:

  • A commercial variant in modern grey
  • A school transport variant in protective yellow

These electric vans are designed to cater to business logistics as well as educational institutions, offering a safer and more sustainable transportation solution.

Performance and Range

Both vans are equipped with a 53 kWh CATL battery, offering an impressive range of up to 300 km on a full charge, making them ideal for daily commercial use within urban and semi-urban environments.

More technical details and pricing will be officially revealed during the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025.
