Kaiyi e-Qute 02 Gets a Massive Rs. 2 Lakh Price Drop in Nepal

The price of the Kaiyi e-Qute 02, a compact electric city car, has been slashed by a substantial Rs. 2 lakh in the Nepali market.

The official distributors of Kaiyi in Nepal — Laxmi E-Mobility and GO Automobiles — have announced the revised pricing. Previously available for Rs. 22.96 lakh, the e-Qute 02 is now priced at just Rs. 20.96 lakh.

With this aggressive new pricing, the Kaiyi e-Qute 02 becomes one of the most affordable and feature-rich electric cars in Nepal. Its compact dimensions and urban-focused design make it an ideal option for city commuters.

Futuristic Design Meets Smart Features

On the outside, the Kaiyi e-Qute 02 features a bold front fascia with hawk-eye LED headlights, flush door handles, and an aerodynamic tail wing at the rear — giving it a sporty and modern stance.

Inside the cabin, it’s equipped with a 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The feature list continues with a segment-first 360-degree camera, column-mounted gear selector, Hi-Fi 4-speaker system, air conditioning, push-button start, and a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel.

Electric Powertrain & Driving Range

The e-Qute 02 is powered by a 40 kW electric motor, paired with a 28.08 kWh lithium battery. According to the company, the car delivers an impressive range of up to 300 kilometers on a full charge — ideal for daily urban use.

It also offers four driving modes: Eco Plus, Eco, Normal, and Sport, allowing users to adjust performance and efficiency based on road conditions or driving preferences.

Strong on Safety

In terms of safety, the e-Qute 02 comes equipped with dual airbags, hill assist control, ISOFIX child seat anchors, rear parking sensors, and the comprehensive 360-degree camera system — making it one of the safest options in the small EV segment.

Available Nationwide

The Kaiyi e-Qute 02 is now available at authorized dealerships in major cities across Nepal, including Nakkhu, Thapathali, Birtamode, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, Dang, Bhairahawa, Hetauda, Bharatpur, Pokhara, Biratnagar, and Birgunj.
