Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has brought the facelifted Tata Tiago EV into the country. The updated electric hatchback, which made its debut in India around three months ago, is now set to go on sale in the Nepali market.

According to sources, Sipradi Trading plans to officially launch the new Tiago EV during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo, with customer deliveries expected to begin shortly after.

The Tata Tiago EV has been one of Nepal’s most popular affordable electric vehicles since its introduction. The facelifted model arrives with refreshed styling, upgraded technology, and improved convenience features, further strengthening its appeal among urban EV buyers looking for a practical and value-for-money electric hatchback.

Powertrain and Performance

The facelifted Tiago EV is powered by a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a 55 kW electric motor. The motor produces 114 Nm of peak torque, offering smooth and efficient performance for daily city commuting.

Upgraded Technology and Features

The biggest updates can be found inside the cabin. The new Tiago EV features an updated digital cockpit, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a multi-function steering wheel.

The cabin has also been refreshed with new upholstery and a redesigned interior, giving the hatchback a more modern and premium feel.

Enhanced Safety

On the safety front, the facelifted Tiago EV comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a reverse parking camera, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC), enhancing both driver confidence and passenger safety.

Expected to Strengthen Tata’s Position

Tata Motors has built a strong reputation in Nepal’s EV market thanks to its competitive pricing, proven reliability, and extensive nationwide service network. With its refreshed design and upgraded feature list, the facelifted Tiago EV is expected to further strengthen the brand’s position in the affordable electric hatchback segment.

While Sipradi Trading has yet to announce the official pricing, the updated Tiago EV is expected to attract significant interest when it makes its public debut at the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo.
