CG Motors has officially launched the GAC Aion V electric SUV in Nepal and has begun sales. This mid-size electric vehicle is available in two variants:
- 62 kWh Battery Variant: Priced at Rs. 64.99 Lakhs, it offers a CLTC-claimed range of 520 km.
- 72 kWh Battery Variant: Priced at Rs. 69.99 Lakhs, it provides a LTC-claimed range of 650 km.
The GAC Aion V boasts several segment-leading features, including:
- Motor: 150 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor delivering 204 PS and 240 Nm of torque.
- Charging: Equipped with a 7 kW AC charger and when using a DC Fast Charger, the 62 kWh battery variant can charge from 10% to 80% in about 1 hour. The 75 kWh variant requires around 10 extra minutes to reach the same level with the same setup.
- Interior: Features a 14.6-inch control screen, leatherette seats with heating and ventilation for front passengers, and a panoramic glass roof.
- Safety: Includes airbags and the ADiGO Pilot Intelligent Driving Assistance system.
The Aion V is built on GAC’s AEP 3.0 platform, offering superior driving range, space, safety features, and vehicular intelligence.
