The ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 has emerged as a major platform for new vehicle launches in Nepal, with automakers and distributors introducing a wide range of electric, hybrid, petrol, diesel, SUV, MPV and pickup models.
From an electric car priced at just under Rs 31 lakh to a premium SUV costing Rs 2.5 crore, the expo has brought vehicles across multiple segments and price categories to the Nepali market.
Here are the major vehicles launched or introduced at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026.
1. Chery QQ3 – Starting at Rs 30.99 Lakh
Chery has entered Nepal’s electric vehicle market with the new Chery QQ3, available in Comfort and Premium variants.
The regular prices of the two variants are Rs 34.49 lakh and Rs 35.99 lakh, respectively. However, under the NAIMA special offer, the Comfort variant is available at Rs 30.99 lakh, while the Premium variant costs Rs 32.99 lakh.
The Chery Q comes with a 41.2 kWh battery and a 90 kW electric motor. According to the company, it can deliver a range of up to 400 km on a full charge.
The EV supports up to 85 kW DC fast charging and can charge from 30 to 80 percent in around 16 minutes.
Key features include a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 540-degree surround-view camera, more than 20 ADAS functions and V2L capability.
Built on a rear-wheel-drive platform, the Chery Q has also won the Red Dot Design Award 2025 and iF Design Award 2026.
2. BYD Atto 2 – Rs 45.95 Lakh
BYD has introduced a more affordable version of its popular Atto 2 electric SUV in Nepal.
The new Essential variant gets a smaller 45 kWh battery and offers a claimed WLTP range of 313 km.
While the existing Premium variant is priced at Rs 48.99 lakh, the new Essential variant has been launched at Rs 45.95 lakh.
Apart from the smaller battery, there are no major changes to the vehicle.
3. Nissan Tekton – Starting at Rs 51.29 Lakh
Nissan has launched its new premium SUV, the Tekton, in Nepal at a starting price of Rs 51.29 lakh.
The SUV features connected LED DRLs, LED headlamps, a muscular bonnet and connected LED rear lights. Its overall design draws inspiration from Nissan’s flagship Patrol SUV.
The cabin features a digital driver display, touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof.
Nissan also offers more than 55 connected-car features through a smartphone application, including remote engine start, remote AC control, remote unlocking, light and horn control, vehicle status and Find My Car.
The Tekton is offered with 1.0-liter and 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engines.
The 1.0-liter engine produces 100 PS and 166 Nm, while the 1.3-liter turbo engine generates 163 PS and 280 Nm.
Safety features include six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, electronic stability program, traction control, tire-pressure monitoring, rollover sensors and other active and passive safety systems.
4. Wuling Darion EV – Rs 55.99 Lakh
Wuling has introduced the seven-seat Darion EV, a premium electric MPV designed for family and long-distance travel.
The official price is Rs 55.99 lakh. Under the NAIMA offer, customers can receive a Rs 2 lakh discount.
The Darian comes with a 69.2 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of up to 540 km.
Features include electric sliding doors, a 12.8-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera, ventilated captain seats, 50W wireless charging, electric tailgate, voice commands and a panoramic sunroof depending on the variant.
Six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC and tire-pressure monitoring are also available.
5. Wuling Eksion EV – Rs 57.99 Lakh
Another major Wuling launch is the Eksion EV, a large seven-seat electric SUV.
The vehicle is priced at Rs 57.99 lakh, while the NAIMA offer reduces the effective price by Rs 2 lakh to Rs 55.99 lakh.
The Eksion features a 69.2 kWh LFP battery and a 150 kW electric motor producing 310 Nm of torque.
The SUV measures 4,745 mm in length and has a 2,810 mm wheelbase.
Its features include ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, digital instrument cluster, 12.8-inch central display, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, electric parking brake and auto hold.
6. Mahindra XEV 9S – Rs 60 Lakh
Mahindra has launched the new XEV 9S electric SUV in Nepal at Rs 60 lakh.
The seven-seat SUV is available with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery options.
The XEV 9S features a conventional SUV design with an LED light bar, closed-off grille and muscular bumper. It has a 2,762 mm wheelbase and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the SUV gets a triple-screen setup, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 360-degree camera and dual-zone climate control.
Other premium features include a 16-speaker Harman audio system with Dolby Atmos, head-up display, ADAS 2.0, memory driver seat and air purifier.
The second row also gets ventilated seats, slide and recline functions, sun blinds, tray tables, wireless charging and entertainment screens.
7. Hyundai Venue – Starting at Rs 48.96 Lakh
Hyundai has introduced a new version of the Venue, locally assembled in Nepal.
The starting price is Rs 48.96 lakh.
The updated Venue features a bold exterior with a dark-chrome grille, vertically stacked quad-beam LED headlamps, sequential indicators, connected LED light bar, diamond-cut alloy wheels and redesigned connected tail lamps.
Inside, it gets dual 12.3-inch displays, a new three-spoke steering wheel and a two-tone cabin with ambient lighting.
The standard Venue is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 hp and 114 Nm.
8. Hyundai Venue N Line – Rs 67.96 Lakh
The performance-oriented Hyundai Venue N Line has also been launched in Nepal with local assembly.
It starts at Rs 67.96 lakh.
The N Line uses a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 120 hp and 172 Nm. It is available with six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions.
The sportier version gets N Line-specific styling, red accents, a special grille, sporty bumpers, new alloy wheels and a dual-ridge roof spoiler.
Features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice-operated electric sunroof, ventilated seats, wireless charging, an eight-speaker Bose audio system and OTA software updates.
Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, a 360-degree camera and other electronic safety systems are also available.
9. BAIC BJ30 Hybrid – Rs 1.19 Crore
The BAIC BJ30 Hybrid is among the premium SUV launches at the expo.
The SUV is priced at Rs 1.19 crore and combines a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with two electric motors.
The all-wheel-drive version produces a combined 409 hp and 685 Nm of torque.
The five-seat SUV measures 4,730 mm in length, has a 2,820 mm wheelbase and offers 215 mm of ground clearance.
The cabin features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch infotainment display.
It also gets V2L capability and a flexible rear-seat layout designed for outdoor and camping use.
10. Chery iCar V27 – Rs 1.80 Crore
Chery’s premium sub-brand iCar has also entered Nepal with the iCar V27, a premium hybrid off-road SUV.
The vehicle is priced at Rs 1.80 crore.
The extended-range electric SUV combines a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with a 34.3 kWh battery.
The company claims a total driving range of around 1,200 km.
The all-wheel-drive version produces 335 kW of power and 505 Nm of torque, positioning it as a high-performance premium SUV.
11. Hyundai Ioniq 9 – Rs 2.19 Crore
Hyundai has launched its largest electric SUV, the Ioniq 9, in Nepal.
The seven-seat premium electric SUV is priced at Rs 2.19 crore.
Built on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform, the Ioniq 9 uses an 800-volt electrical architecture.
It features a 110 kWh battery pack and a 160 kW electric motor. The WLTP-certified range is up to 620 km.
With a 350 kW DC fast charger, Hyundai claims the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 24 minutes.
The SUV is available with rear-wheel drive, while a dual-motor all-wheel-drive option is also available.
Features include dual panoramic displays, digital cockpit, premium materials, multi-zone climate control, digital key, OTA software updates, ADAS and a 360-degree camera.
12. MG Majestor – Rs 2.50 Crore
The MG Majestor is one of the most expensive vehicles launched at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026, with a price tag of Rs 2.50 crore.
The premium SUV is powered by a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine producing 215.5 PS and 478.5 Nm of torque.
It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and is offered with rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options.
The 4WD version gets 10 off-road modes, triple differential locks, crawl control and 219 mm ground clearance. It can reportedly wade through water up to 810 mm deep.
The Majestor has previously gained attention after reportedly pulling a 406.4-ton train to set a Guinness World Record.
Inside, it features dual 12.3-inch screens, three-zone climate control, a 12-speaker sound system, heated and ventilated seats and massage functions.
13. MG U9 Electric Pickup – Starting at Rs 98.99 Lakh
MG has also introduced the MG U9, a high-performance electric pickup designed around performance, off-road capability and premium features.
It is available in Luxury and Flagship variants priced at Rs 98.99 lakh and Rs 1.10 crore, respectively.
The U9 uses dual permanent-magnet synchronous motors producing a combined 325 kW and 700 Nm.
It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 190 km/h.
A 102.2 kWh LFP battery provides a claimed WLTP range of up to 430 km.
DC fast charging from 20 to 80 percent takes around 42 minutes, according to the company.
The pickup also features air suspension, double-wishbone front suspension, multi-link rear suspension and nine driving modes.
14. Toyota RAV4 Hybrid – Rs 2.13 Crore
Toyota has started sales of the sixth-generation RAV4 Hybrid in Nepal.
The new RAV4 is priced at Rs 2.13 crore.
It uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine combined with an electric motor. The self-charging hybrid system produces a combined 240 PS.
The RAV4 has been one of the world’s most successful compact SUVs since its introduction in 1994. Toyota says nearly 15.5 million units have been sold globally over the past three decades.
More than 1,000 RAV4 units from previous generations have also been sold in Nepal.
15. Toyota Hilux – Rs 1.55 Crore
Toyota has launched the ninth-generation Hilux pickup in Nepal at Rs 1.55 crore.
The new Hilux gets a redesigned exterior and upgraded interior, following Toyota’s latest rugged design language inspired by the Land Cruiser.
The new generation is expected to feature a 2.8-liter diesel engine, while a 48-volt mild-hybrid version may also be available.
The Hilux can carry up to one tonne of payload and has a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes.
NAIMA 2026: Wide Range of Choices for Nepali Buyers
The latest launches at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026 highlight the rapidly changing nature of Nepal’s automobile market.
Electric vehicles dominate the affordable and mid-range segments, with models such as the Chery Q, BYD Atto 2, Wuling Darian, Wuling Axion and Mahindra XEV 9S.
At the same time, hybrid vehicles are gaining ground in the premium segment, represented by the BAIC BJ30, Chery iCar V27 and Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
The expo has also seen the arrival of premium and performance-focused vehicles such as the Hyundai Ioniq 9, MG Majestor and MG U9.
