Suzuki e-Vitara Unveiled in Nepal, Deliveries to Begin in October

Suzuki’s first-ever electric SUV, the e-Vitara, has been officially unveiled in Nepal.

CG MotoCorp, the official distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Nepal, launched the e-Vitara on Friday during a special event. While the company has not yet announced its price, it confirmed that pricing and bookings will open at the NADA Auto Show 2025, starting on Bhadra 3 (August 19, 2025). Deliveries are scheduled to commence in October.

The e-Vitara is produced at Suzuki’s plant in India and has been co-developed in collaboration with another Japanese brand, Toyota. It comes equipped with BYD’s renowned Blade Battery Technology, offering two battery options – 61 kWh and 49 kWh. The larger battery pack is claimed to deliver a driving range of up to 500 km on a single charge.

In terms of dimensions, the compact mid-size SUV measures 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height, with a 2,700 mm wheelbase and 180 mm ground clearance.

On the exterior, the e-Vitara features LED headlights, DRLs, LED taillights, an active air vent front grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.

The cabin is equipped with multi-color ambient lighting, wireless charger, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman audio system, in-car connectivity features, single-zone automatic climate control, PM 2.5 air filter, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat. The rear seats offer both recline and sliding adjustments for added comfort.

For driving versatility, the e-Vitara offers Eco, Normal, and Sports modes, along with Snow mode and a one-pedal driving option.

On the safety front, the SUV comes with ADAS Level 2 features, including Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, 7 airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), 360-degree camera, and both front and rear parking sensors. Additional safety features include disc brakes on all four wheels, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and an acoustic vehicle alert system for pedestrian safety.

With its modern design, advanced tech, and long-range capability, the Suzuki e-Vitara marks a major milestone for the brand as it steps into Nepal’s growing EV market.
