The 17th edition of the NADA Auto Show 2025 officially kicked off on Tuesday at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the event, marking the first time that the NADA Auto Show has been inaugurated by a sitting Prime Minister.
Speaking at the ceremony, PM Oli stated that automobile entrepreneurs currently have no reason to be dissatisfied. He highlighted that the government has not increased tax rates through the national budget and that the monetary policy has also been designed to support the auto sector.
“There is no situation where automobile entrepreneurs should feel dissatisfied. We have not altered any tax rates in the budget, and both the budget and monetary policy have been formulated in a way that benefits businesses,” he said.
