JAECOO J5 Bookings Open in Nepal – A Mini Range Rover-Inspired EV Priced at NPR 56.99 Lakh After Discount

The highly anticipated JAECOO J5, often dubbed the “Mini Range Rover” in China, has made its official debut at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025. With its bold design and advanced feature set, the J5 has now entered the Nepali market and bookings have officially begun.

The SUV has been introduced by APG Automobiles, the official distributor of Omoda and Jaecoo in Nepal. The initial price of the J5 is NPR 60.99 lakh, but during the NAIMA Expo, buyers can take advantage of a special cash discount of NPR 4 lakh, bringing the effective price down to NPR 56.99 lakh.


Powerful Motor, Competitive Range

The J5 comes with a 155 kW front-wheel-drive motor, offering strong performance and 185 mm of ground clearance ideal for Nepali roads. It’s powered by a 58 kWh LFP battery, delivering an estimated range of around 400 km on a single charge.
