Another new electric SUV is set to enter the Nepali market. Laxmi E-Mobility is bringing the Dongfeng Forthing Friday SUV, which will be available in two variants.
The compact mid-rise SUV has a length of 4,600 mm, width of 1,860 mm, and height of 1,680 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. It comes with large 19-inch wheels, giving it a premium look.
The Friday SUV is powered by a 64.4 kWh battery pack, offering a 400 km WLTP-certified range on a full charge. Charging options include:
- AC Charger (11 kW): Full charge in 5.5 hours
- DC Fast Charger (120 kW): 30% to 80% charge in just 35 minutes
The SUV runs on a 99 kW motor with a peak torque of 340 Nm, ensuring smooth and powerful performance.
The Friday SUV comes with premium features, including:
- Luxury interior: Pure leather seats, multifunctional leather-wrapped steering wheel
- Technology: 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, 14.6-inch infotainment screen, 6-speaker music system

The Friday SUV is expected to be priced between NPR 55 lakhs and 65 lakhs, putting it in Nepal’s most competitive electric vehicle (EV) price segment. It will compete with other popular EVs in this range, making it another strong choice for buyers looking for a premium electric SUV.
