The Deepal S05 electric SUV, developed by Changan’s new energy brand Deepal and manufactured in Thailand, has arrived in Kathmandu. The vehicle has gained attention as one of the most anticipated EV models to launch in Nepal this year.
A few days ago, MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the official distributor of Deepal vehicles in Nepal, published the retail pricing for all three variants of the S05. According to the distributor, the Light variant is priced at Rs. 62.99 lakhs, the Plus variant at Rs. 65.99 lakhs, and the Max variant at Rs. 67.99 lakhs. These prices are listed as the maximum retail prices.
The Deepal S05 is equipped with a 99 kW peak power electric motor, offering a strong blend of performance and efficiency. However, the published prices are currently intended for customs valuation purposes, which means the final showroom prices may vary when the vehicle officially hits the market.
The Deepal S05 is scheduled to be showcased during the NADA Auto Show event starting on Bhadra 3 (August 19), marking its official public appearance in Nepal.
