Deepal, a brand known for prioritizing luxury in the electric vehicle segment, is set to launch its all-new luxury crossover SUV, the S05, in Nepal this week. Sources suggest that the official launch could take place this Thursday.
Brought to Nepal by MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor of Changan vehicles, the Deepal S05 blends luxury, style, and advanced technology. Following the success of the Deepal S07, the S05 aims to bring a more refined SUV to the compact segment.

Winner of the prestigious iF Design Award, the Deepal S05 features a bold aerodynamic silhouette, frameless doors, and LED tail lights inspired by a “Star Feeder” design making a powerful style statement.

The S05 uses CATL’s Golden Shield Battery System 2.0, developed by the world’s largest EV battery manufacturer. It boasts a lifespan of over 600,000 km, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.
According to MAW Vriddhi, the Deepal S05 is expected to strengthen the brand’s dominance in Nepal’s EV market, following the strong reception of the Deepal S07.
While the official price is yet to be announced, industry estimates place it between NPR 50–60 lakhs, making it a premium but competitive offering in the compact luxury EV segment.
