Deepal S05 Launched in Nepal with Three Variants — Prices Revealed

The Deepal S05, an electric SUV from Changan’s New Energy Vehicle brand, has officially arrived in Nepal. MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the authorized distributor, has announced the maximum retail prices for all three variants of the model.

The Light variant is priced at NPR 62.99 lakhs, the Plus variant at NPR 65.99 lakhs, and the Max variant at NPR 67.99 lakhs. These prices have been published for customs purposes and may differ slightly once the vehicle officially hits the market.

Sales to Begin in Early Bhadra

Sales of the Deepal S05 are expected to begin in the first week of Bhadra (mid-August). Customers will be able to choose between three different trims, each offering distinct features and configurations.

Made in Thailand, Powered for Performance

The Deepal S05 is manufactured in Thailand and comes equipped with a 99 kW (approximately 134 hp) electric motor. The official specifications mention that it uses a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor capable of delivering:

  • Acceleration (0–100 km/h): 7.3 seconds
  • Top Speed: 180 km/h
