Changan Lumin Launched in Nepal at Rs 22.99 Lakh

Changan Nepal has officially launched the Lumin, a compact electric car, in Nepal at a starting price of Rs 22.99 lakh. Designed for city driving, the Lumin focuses on practicality, efficiency, and convenience for urban commuters.

The Lumin is powered by a 35 kW electric motor producing 83 Nm of torque, paired with a 28.08 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. It offers a NEDC-certified range of 301 km on a single charge and supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged in approximately 35 minutes.

Inside, the car features a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch LCD instrument display, and full compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Key convenience features include keyless entry, push-button start, 50:50 foldable rear seats, Bluetooth connectivity, and a multifunctional steering wheel. Safety is well-covered with front airbags, tire pressure monitoring, ESP, ABS, EBD, HHC, as well as a rear camera and rear parking sensors.

The Lumin measures 3,270 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, and 1,590 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,980 mm and a kerb weight of 925 kg. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and comes in five exterior color options, making it a stylish and practical choice for city drivers.
