Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has officially launched the much-anticipated Atto 1 electric hatchback at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025. The model is now available in two variants: Standard Range Dynamic and Long Range Premium.
The Atto 1 has been sold globally under different names — as the Seagull in China and Surf in Europe. In Nepal, however, it carries the name Atto 1, and has already generated strong interest in the market.

- Standard Range Dynamic: NPR 28.95 lakh
- Long Range Premium: NPR 32.95 lakh
Battery & Range
The Atto 1 comes with two battery options:
- Standard Range: 30.08 kWh
- Long Range: 38.88 kWh
According to NEDC certification, these deliver an estimated range of:
- 230 km for the Standard Range
- 300 km for the Long Range
Both variants are equipped with a 45 kW electric motor and support both AC and DC charging.

The Atto 1 is a compact hatchback ideal for city driving, with the following dimensions:
