2025 Tata Nexon Launched with New Trims and Features

Tata Motors has launched the 2025 iteration of its popular Nexon SUV, introducing new trims, enhanced features, and fresh color options while retaining its reliable powertrain. Following updates to the Tiago and Tigor, the revamped Nexon aims to elevate its appeal in the Indian automotive market.

Key Updates in the 2025 Tata Nexon

Exterior and Color Options

The 2025 Nexon now offers four new paint schemes: Carbon Black, Creative Blue, Royal Blue, and Grassland Beige. These are available alongside the existing Daytona Grey, Pure Grey, and Pristine White options. However, Tata Motors has phased out the Flame Red and Fearless Purple color options.

Updated Variants and Features

The new lineup replaces the Pure, Pure S, Creative Plus, and Fearless trims with two fresh variants: Pure Plus and Pure Plus S.

Features of New Trims:

  • Pure Plus: Front center armrest, rear-view camera, height-adjustable driver seat, auto-folding ORVMs, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  • Pure Plus S: Adds rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, and a sunroof.

The Creative Plus variant, available with both petrol and diesel powertrains, now boasts features such as a panoramic sunroof, TPMS, keyless entry, front fog lamps, front parking sensors, and a wireless charger. Additionally, bi-functional LED headlights and ‘X-Factor’ connected tail lights enhance its style.

The updated Creative variant introduces a 360-degree camera but omits dynamic turn signals and a six-speaker sound system. Meanwhile, the Creative+ S trim includes a sunroof, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers.

For the top-tier Fearless Plus PS variant, Tata has added premium features like a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, sequential LED DRLs, ventilated front seats, a nine-speaker JBL sound system, connected technology, and an air purifier.

Powertrain Options

The 2025 Nexon retains its proven powertrain lineup:

  • 1.2-litre Turbo Petrol Engine: Paired with a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-AMT, or a DCT.
  • 1.5-litre Diesel Engine: Offered with a 6-speed MT or 6-AMT.

Conclusion

The 2025 Tata Nexon brings significant updates in design, features, and variants, enhancing its value proposition for Indian customers. By maintaining its trusted powertrain options and introducing new features, Tata Motors aims to solidify the Nexon’s position as a top contender in the compact SUV segment.
