While both variants of the Proton EV look very similar on the outside, they come equipped with different pairs of wheels. The base-spec features 18-inch wheels with 225/55 P10 GitiControl tyres whereas the top-spec Premium variant rolls on 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels wrapped with 235/40 Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance SUV tyres, which makes the eMAS 7 stand out in its class.
Fully-reclinable front seats

Not only best-in-class, but the Proton EV also comes with a few only-in-class features. One of which is fully reclinable front seats, redefining comfort and convenience. The seats can be adjusted to a nearly horizontal position, allowing passengers to take a rest or a nap while on long journeys. Proton has marked over 85% of public charging points (over 1700) on the map, enabling customers to conveniently find a charging station on the go. Live data from Charge Point Operators ensures real-time updates on availability, pricing, connector types, and power levels. It reduces range anxiety and adds convenience for longer journeys.
To make this happen, the automaker joined hands with leading charge point operators (CPOs), including Gentari, JomCharge, chargEV, and DC Handal, Carput Zap and ChargeSini. But we are not sure if this feature will be available in Nepali market.
Head-up display

The eMAS 7 also features the windshield head-up display, a feature its competitors don’t have. It projects essential driving-related information (speed, battery status, navigation direction, etc) directly onto the windshield, so the driver has access to critical data without taking their eyes off the road.
16-speaker Flyme sound system

The EV comes equipped with the best-in-class Flyme Sound System with 16 speakers, offering an immersive high-fidelity audio experience to occupants. Out of these 16 speakers, two are installed within the headrest bringing every note closer to you. The eMAS 7 is the only EV in its class to get this feature.

33 storage compartments

The SUV has a total of 33 storage compartments thoughtfully distributed throughout the cabin. These include drawers under the rear AC vents and under the rear seats and a tall space beneath the central stack. All these come quite handy to keep essentials such as water bottles, keys, gadgets, and other small knick-knacks.
The boot space measures 461 litres with rear seats upright and 1,877 litres with rear seats folded down. There is also an extra 51-litre compartment under the boot floor, however, no frunk is provided.
12-in-1 integrated motor

AEGIS Short Blade Battery

With a groundbreaking Cell-To-Body battery architecture, the Proton EV comes packed with Geely’s new Aegis battery pack. It is a new-gen lithium iron phosphate battery pack, setting new benchmarks in safety, efficiency, and performance for electric vehicles.
It offers a better energy density (192Wh/kg) and better safety with wet process dual separators. In terms of durability, the battery is designed to last over 1 million km with 3,500 charging cycles.
This cutting-edge technology integrates innovative technologies like self-fusing surfaces, aluminum insulation, and a robust grid-frame design. This ensures that it can handle fire, impacts, and extreme conditions without the risk of ignition.
256-colour ambient lighting
