Dongfeng Nammi 06 Launched in Nepal in Three Variants with Two Battery Options

MAW Vriddhi Motors has officially introduced the Dongfeng Nammi 06 electric SUV in Nepal. This compact EV—already available in China under the same name—will be showcased at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2025 and is now available for purchase in three variants, offering two battery options.

Three Variants, Two Battery Choices

The Nammi 06 is being offered in the following trims:

The E-1 and E-2 variants are equipped with a 44.94 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, while the top-tier E-2 Plus comes with a larger 51.87 kWh LFP battery. All variants share the same powertrain—a 99 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor delivering consistent performance.

Strong Range & Fast Charging

Under the CLTC test cycle, the Nammi 06 offers:

  • Up to 401 km range with the 44.94 kWh battery
  • Up to 471 km range with the 51.87 kWh battery

It also supports fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 20–25 minutes using Nepal’s 60 kW DC fast chargers.

Stylish, Futuristic Design

The Nammi 06 sports a clean and futuristic design with standout details such as:

  • Unique “7”-shaped LED DRLs integrated into sleek headlamps
  • Closed EV front grille, silver skid plates, and muscular stance
  • 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, and a high shoulder line
  • Pixel Matrix LED tail lamps and a sharp rear spoiler for a tech-forward look

This design places the Nammi 06 among the most visually striking electric SUVs in its segment.

Modern, Tech-Driven Interior

Inside, the Nammi 06 provides a refined and feature-rich experience:

  • A large 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster
  • Leatherette seats with heating, ventilation, and even massage functions on higher trims
  • Ambient lighting, intuitive controls, and ample space for five passengers

Safety & Smart Features

The Nammi 06 is equipped with L2-level Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), developed in collaboration with DJI, which includes:

  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Forward Collision Warning
  • Adaptive Cruise Control

For safety, it also features multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

Price & Market Position

While the base model is priced from USD 12,000 in China, Nepal’s pricing reflects import taxes and duties. Still, MAW Vriddhi Motors has managed to keep it competitive in the local market. With its futuristic design, solid range, and high-tech features, the Nammi 06 is set to appeal to urban EV buyers looking for value, performance, and practicality.
